Souls and SoulBound Tokens (SBTs)

While the traditional definition of soul refers to the spiritual essence of a person, the term has taken on a new meaning in the context of blockchain technology. Vatalik refers “Souls” as a synonym for accounts or wallets, and the token held by the accounts as “Soulbound Tokens”(SBT).

Soul-bound tokens(SBT) are a type of NFT that represents ownership of a user's social identity and reputation on a decentralized social network.

AVIVE redefines the Soul-SBT system, which aims to help users establish and manage their sovereign individual soul in the web3 ecosystem.
