Delegated Proof of Stake

Proof of Stake (PoS) is a more scalable and energy-efficient alternative to Proof of Work (PoW) consensus algorithms. However, one of its limitations is that it restricts small stake users from participating in the network. To address this issue, some blockchains have introduced Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) mechanisms, which allow token holders to vote and elect the validator set by delegating their holdings to validators, who are typically incentivized by rewards. By using DPoS, even small Soul Force holders can delegate their tokens to validator candidates, which empowers the community and incentivizes the democratization of delegated Soul Force.
